Disposable

I held on to a disposable film camera for about a year, snapping a shot once every month or so at random.  By the time I finally took it in to be developed, the camera itself had molted its cardboard skin and acquired little bits of cat fur and granola in its crevices.  I won’t post them all, but here are just a few off the roll.

Would Be My New Album Cover

I play guitar and drums, and I’ve played both in bands in the past but nothing lately. I took this today though, and the picture alone made me wish I was working on music right now so I could use it as my new album cover.

Here’s a couple more randoms from this weekend:

(I am 23 weeks pregnant)

June Weekend Phone Pics

I love this mug! And I love the peppermint tea inside.

I can't resist sharing this pic of my one and a half year old, it looks like "Where The Wild Things Are"...

Rainy Day Thursday

I had a late night meeting with midwives last night, it was nice.  I bought ice cream on the way home.

It’s raining this morning.  A perfect time to sit and watch cartoons, drink tea, putter around cleaning up, eat steel cut oats spooned into a measuring cup because there are no clean dishes… Eep! Did I mention cleaning up?

My Tree of Life Living Room

in my living roomI just had to share this!  For my birthday, I went to the India import store to get a scarf for making curtains but ended up with this instead.

It’s the “tree of life”, and I put it on the wall in my living room.  It’s cotton woven the traditional way and dyed with vegetable dye.  I love it because every time I look at it, I see a new bird, or animal or plant. There is just so much detail.
